VOLUNTEERS

REASONS TO VOLUNTEER
Active members are the creative lifeblood of the Lakelands Lifelong Learning Network.  They are involved in every aspect of LLLN's operations and programming. Nearly 100 volunteers work to bring LLLN classes, lectures, events, and programs to you. We are always looking for fresh ideas, talents and skills.

1. Meet Interesting people!
The LLLN community is as diverse as its membership and volunteering is a great way to make new acquaintances.

2. Make a difference in your regional lifelong learning community.
Your volunteer service matters. There are many ways to volunteer to help support the work of LLLN, and to ensure your regional lifelong learning community remains interesting, vibrant, provocative, satisfying and fun.

3. Be recognized.
LLLN volunteers are honored at an annual recognition event which features music, food and prizes.

4. It's good for you!
Numerous studies show that while you are giving back to an organization like LLLN, you can experience less stress and more joy, which is shown to strengthen the mind and body.

Vounteer Opportunities
Please consider accepting our invitation to serve as a volunteer. We appreciate your support as all of us are committed to providing the best lifelong learning program in the Lakelands.

We have volunteer opportunities to suit nearly every interest and schedule:

Want to get to know more LLLN members?  Volunteer to “Class Host” or plan member events with the "Events Committee."

Do you enjoy working in an office? Help us keep LLLN records up-to-date and accurate and provide paperwork to other volunteers as an LLLN Office volunteer.
